Club Activities
At Epic Public School, we believe in holistic education that goes beyond the classroom. Our club activities, in alignment with CBSE guidelines, provide students with opportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills, and cultivate a sense of community.
Science club
There are in fact two things, science and opinion; the former begets knowledge, the latter ignorance.
Hippocrates (460-377BC)
The science club of Epic Public School , cooch behar organised a science exhibition in the school premises on . The children under the guidance of their teachers had the golden opportunity to indulge and explore creative scientific ideas in the form of models. Students displayed their innovative potential as they set out to try hands in the arena of practicum.
The exhibition turned out to be successful as the students showed immense interest in exhibiting their models, explaining as well as demonstrating their creativity to huge mass who came to witness the children’s exposure.
The blooming projects of the young ignited minds has provoked us to offer them such platforms every year.
LITERATURE CLUB
Epic Public School wishes to help its learners to engage in various works of literature.
Literature helps our students to articulate their thoughts to the world in the most unique way possible. To enrich the students in this arena Epic Public School keeps organising some or the other celebration so as to make the pupils know about the contribution of various well known personalities in details.
Besides, Epic Public School also has initiated to help the students develop a sense of love for their home language. With this moto in mind, the school has made it mandatory to celebrate language day once a month.
Sports club
‘Champions keep playing until they get it right’
Epic Public School believes that it is sports that plays a pivotal role in a child’s development and goal. Every alternate year the school organises Sports day to help students develop his/her physical abilities. The enthusiasm of the pupils are well reflected in the field during their practise session as well as on the day of the event. Sports , webelieve inculcates in the student discipline, resilience, leadership and promotes teamwork.
It is the best way to endorse good sportsmanship among the pupils.
Nature club
“Nature is the source of all true knowledge.” –Leonardo da Vinci
As Epicians considers nature as their mother it becomes the sole responsibility of Epicians to preserve mother nature. The institute promotes growing trees and plants , banning the use of plastics, and many other ways to preserve nature.
On earth day ,all the students of Epic Public School carry a sapling from their residence and plant in the campus. Not only that they take care of the sapling in the same way as they take care of their own sibling. It gives us immense pleasure to see the young souls giving their best to preserve mother nature .
Plastics deteriorate the atmosphere to a great extent. We helped our students to know about the adverse effect of plastic and we were happy to know that the students have tried their level best to ban the use of the same not only in our campus but also in their atmosphere. With the aim of creating a plastic free atmosphere our students themselves came up with some ideas that they delivered to the locales by visiting some nearby places.
Yoga and meditation club
Epic Public School promotes healthy living and thinking. With this mission we have made yoga necessity in our curriculum. Yoga Day is held every year wherein a student is well demonstrated and explained the benefits of yoga and the need to practise it daily. Youthday is celebrated with the same aim.
Music club
“Music is the divine way to tell beautiful, poetic things to the heart.” – Pablo Casals.
Music plays a very important role in everyone’s life. Our school students also have interest in music. They well exhibit their interest in various music classes of the institute.
Every year our school celebrates World music day where students present their performance in front of the stage. A competition is organised on the ocassion.
Compassion club
“Sometimes it takes only one act of kindness and caring to change a person’s life.”
Epic Public School has always stood by the people during their hardships in whatever way possible. Keeping in view the acurate shortage of various things ,the institute keeps organising donation camps for the welfare of the locales.
Recently a blood donation camp was organised in collaboration with St. James Ambulance to meet the shortages of blood.
Every year a cloth donation program is organised to spread happiness among the deprived.This small act of charity is well supported by the school teachers and parents. The happiness of the ones receiving the donation marks the success of such camps.
